In order to implement the Vision 2021 announced by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the government has given special importance to this sector and ensured technical assistance in the ubiquitous application and use of information and communication technology at the district, upazila and union levels; Information and communication technology facilities reaching the edge, infrastructure security provision; maintenance; implementation; Directorate of Information and Communication Technology was established on 31st July, 2013 to ensure delivery of e-services to remote areas of the country by enhancing quality control and skill enhancement of computer professionals. In continuation of this, on 14th July 2015, Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, Upazila Office, Sarishabari, Jamalpur appointed Assistant Programmer.
